Student Portal Instructions - Add Students, Enroll in a Course, and Progress to Next Lesson

Student Portal Instructions:

The Kid-Inspired Student Portal is on a different site than the main membership site. Be sure you have both the main membership site as well as the Student Portal bookmarked. Here are the web addresses for both:

• Student Portal: https://app.kid-inspired.com

After logging in, you should be redirected to the Manage Students page. On the Manage Students page, there are instructions for how to allow a student to progress to the next lesson as well as other commonly asked questions.

How to Add Students:

Click on the Users button and then choose the way you'd like to add students. Most teachers add students using the manual option so that they can choose the password for each student. 

Enrolling A Student in a Course:

To enroll students in a course, you need to first add them to the platform using the instructions above. Then you can have them take the independent assessment which will automatically assign them to a course, or you can use the form on the side of the Manage Students page to add them to a course. I've included images for those below. For the Independent Assessment, students simply need to click on the Level Assessment link in their side menu.

Allowing Students to Progress to the Next Lesson

In order to allow a student to move on to the next lesson, you need to mark the previous lesson or module complete by clicking on the In Progress link in the table of your students on the Manage Students page. You'll see checkmark boxes for all of the courses and lessons and modules there.
